Yesterday marked the 13th year my sister Kim had been takin from our lives. Her memory is in my mind but for my kids and husband its not the same. Kaylee has seen this day come and pass for ten years and it seems she has a connection to Kim. She wrote a note on her balloon so easily to her.
One part said "Your My Forever Aunt"
Henlee had to be explained a couple times that, its "my sister, your Aunt, just like Jeana or Nancy, etc."...
He tried to write his name, but then just had Kaylee draw a picture of him and "Her, Mom's sister" on his balloon.
We let the balloons go so she could get our notes...
It was also a year ago that we lost Grandma Pat. We miss her every day!

I'm so sorry for you loss. I couldn't imagine the pain of loosing a sister. She's with you and around you always. Just like Grandma Pat is too =] I'm sure of it. My kids remember lots about Grandma and we miss her but love talking about her.
