My brother Alan had tickets to the Bee's baseball game in SLC. He invited Henlee and Matt to go. They said they enjoyed it but it was hot! Henlee thought the bee was funny cause he tried to eat his head! LOL
He was one sleepy boy though!

Haley got to take Kaylee for the day! It was so nice of her to run her around to see all our friends! Our friends have been just like family to us! They have known Kaylee since she was a baby. I am so happy Kaylee can maintain relationships and see them once a year.

Kaylee's 11...

Matt and I called Kaylee's phone on July 6th @ 4:43 AM, her birth time!! Since she didn't pick up, we left her a message of our awesome singing voices!

I was later woken up by a text from her, asking if I wanted to Skype with her!
OF COURSE!!
We talked about how she was doing, what she would be doing on her first day of being 11, and how much we missed each other. I wrote little notes to her. She read her card we had sent her. It was really great to see her!

I heard from Kaylee again that day on the phone. She was needing instructions on how to make an omelet, like me. Such a cutie! Her request for lunch on her day!

We than planned to have Matt and Henlee Skype once Matt got off work. Only Henlee was very sleepy and not wanting to participate!! We continued on with our plans and sang Happy Birthday with a cake and candle!

You can see the dancing cake in the video {thanks Matt} and you can see the second chance of a wish where the smoke from the candle appears. I think she enjoyed this!

Late that night, Henlee was pretty upset he couldn't see Sissy on the computer. A phone call would have to do till tomorrow....Kaylee said her favorite part of her day was Skypeing with us!

The next day Henlee was able to see his Sissy!

He even showed her some of his workout moves!

End of June-Beginning of July...

Below is the first car I bought. It was one of my favorite rides! Kaylee grew up in this car, Matt & I went on our first dates in this car. I was so sad to see it go!

Especially to have to switch to this...did I EVER think I would own one of these!?! No way!! Who knew that so many things would change in our lives, once we got pregnant with twins!

Matt took Henlee to the mall, they rode the train! Henlee thought it would be good to try Fruit Loops with chocolate milk, he doesn't want them again! Jeana's birthday weekend was to be a Luau, I helped Nancy decorate the cake here. I got some Hawaiian food from Benny and joined the party via phone!

Day 19: Cambree came and stayed the evening while Matt went to Jeana's party. The next morning Henlee, Matt, and Grandpa went to hit golf balls. When they got back we went outside, Henlee was pretending to be Hulk and took his shirt off. He even took my physical therapy bands to "workout" with. Holly came to pick up Cambree and Baby Sam, loves him some Henlee!

Day 22:Miss Morgan came to hangout with me for the day and even made me some blankets! I know my girls will be cozy in them. Grandpa Brady did Henlee's hair for school. Jeana also picked him up and took him to McDonald's!

I got a cute picture of my Little Miss! I am missing her so much!!

Henlee had a fun filled day with Holly, Cambree, Isabelle, and Baby Sam! They went to a Jump House and he loved it! Then they went to a park for a picnic and then headed to the mall. Holly let them venture into Build A Bear! Henlee got his first Bear and named him Galley Silly Bear! He was so happy!!

Henlee had to get shots to be able to go see his baby sisters in the NICU and to start school. He was awarded for being so brave with this toy!

Matt took Henlee swimming and he loved the slides!

I got a special visit from Mindy's mom, who had just returned from Germany. She had some lovely gifts from Mindy, that she bought in Paris!

On July 3rd, we woke up bright and early to take Henlee to the Balloon Festival! It just so happens to be held at the field next to the hospital!. I was able to feel like I had gone somewhere! I didn't even have to fight traffic! :) It was great to spend this time with Jody and see Henlee get so excited!

Smokey The Bear was his favorite balloon!

The balloons were done and we headed back upstairs. I wasn't feeling to good but thought of it to be morning sickness. I soon learned that not to be the case! I was sick! My sister Laura came in town and was sitting there with me the whole day!  Even sick though we went down the hall for my sonogram.
It was very uncomfortable, my whole body was sore and I felt really nausea! But I did get to see my girls and know that they were ok! 3lbs, 3 oz & 2lbs, 14 oz!

As the day progressed I was even sicker! The sickest I have ever felt! I ended up getting dehydrated and started having contractions. They had to start an IV. The fluids eventually helped with the contractions but the night was a long one!
I spent the morning of the 4th still recovering while Matt took Henlee to the parade. They met up with the Ackroyd's!

After sleeping most of the day away, I was able to go in the wheel chair to the other side of the hospital and enjoy the fireworks!
The Ackroyd's joined us!

Kaylee blew me kisses from miles away!! Gotta love this girl!!

Matt's Dirty 30....

Matt turned 30 this year!! The big Dirty 30! We spent most of the day just hanging out. He got to see the babies on the sonogram.

With help I was able to pull off and Open House type dinner of pizza {Momma B}, drinks {Nece} and cake!

I enjoy how our families seem to mess well. Nancy loves baby Sam just as much as Henlee does!

Sandra made him a bucket with suckers in it, and a clever saying that says "Thirty sucks"!!

One lucky sucker had a $20 wrapped around it!

Momma B and Baby Sam!

Sam is going to get the birthday boy!

Sandra was so nice to make Matt's traditional "cake" for me.
Peanut butter Bars! YUMMY!!

Our birthday song!

Opening present from Momma! Some Nike wear!

From Holly & company

Lots of cards and $cash$

Happy Birthday to you! What a birthday to remember, spent in the hospital! Glad you took it with grace! We love you!!

Day 6-14

Missing Kaylee!

A sweet text everyday from my sister Jody!

Henlee was so lucky, he got to go to the Reservoir with the Ackroyds!

Than later he ran through the hospital sprinklers!

Mr.H started preschool for the first time! Grandma B took him, it was hard not to be the one to take him on his first day! He was super excited and felt like a big kid! They had movie day, he watched Recess and had popcorn!

The Ackroyd's came to see me with Toree, she would be going home soon.

Day 8: Henlee spent the day at Grandmas and tried out his first slip and slid. Matt and Henlee went to Kinzy and Derrick's birthday party. It was a Murder Mystery Dinner/Play. Set in the 1500's. Matt played a scientist!

Day 9: Matt took a nap when we went outside, Henlee pretended to be me!

Father's Day was spent mostly in the hospital. The night before, Matt got a great dinner from the Ackroyd's the night before! The morning of, Henlee and I made him breakfast in bed {maybe we just ordered it}, he got a phone call from Kaylee, & than took Henlee to the driving rage and putting green. Henlee had so much fun!

Since the time Henlee could hold a golf club, him and Matt have been "playing" in the living room with a cup as a the hole. Henlee is really quiet good with hitting the ball, expecially putting! I love these moments they share together! Matt is such a great father! One who gives selfishly to both of his kids!

We received the best packages from our friends back in Kansas, Katie and Jason. They sent some gifts for Henlee's birthday, a car, bubbles, and an outfit he loves! Matt got a drink holder with some mini liquor bottles, Kaylee got a gift card to Justice, I got some swedish fish{she knows me to well} and a book. She even sent us her little girls handy down, a whole box worth!!

Henlee and I got treats this day and went for a walk. Later the Ackroyd's  and Dan came to celebrate Kinzy and Derricks real birthday! Candles in the hospital, is that legal??

More to come.....

C-ya later....

Kaylee woke up and got ready for the day.
Isn't she so cute!!

Before Kaylee would head out of town, I thought it would be nice to do a Father's day thing for Matt. With the help of Nece, they made cards for him and gave him a gift card to play 18 holes of golf. We are very lucky to have him to take care of us!

For lunch that day we planned to hit the cafeteria and have a picnic on the front lawn of the hospital. We also played tag!

After we had "snow cones" from the hospital and took a couple more pictures.
Then it was time to say goodbye.
Although Henlee was going with them to the airport, he cried the whole way there and again as they said good bye.

I wish I was here in this moment....I love how my kids love each other!!!
